Changes to Doctors Appointments
Forum Health Centre would like to advise you of a change in our appointment system.
From Monday 21st May between 8am - 10am the reception staff will only accept calls from patients who have an acute medical problem that needs dealing with that day.
Patients telephoning for these appointments will NOT routinely be offered a choice of Doctor but will be offered an appointment with the on call Doctor in their next available slot.
Patients calling with an ongoing problem and / or who wish to see a doctor of their choice should telephone after 10am for a routine appointment within 48 hours and up to 6 weeks ahead subject to availability.
The reason for these changes is due to the increased difficulty getting through first thing in the morning to make an appointment.
The changes we plan should address this issue.
