Mindfulness for Mental Health

2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month (*from 22 Nov 2018*) 6:00-6:45pm at Forum Health Centre1A Farren Rd, Coventry, CV2 5EP

We will look at a variety of formal mindfulness practices and some informal techniques for building mindfulness into everyday life. In each standalone session, participants will be introduced to a new mindfulness-based strategy for promoting mental wellbeing. Key themes include how mindfulness can be used to:

  • Deal with difficult thoughts
  • Tackle stress and anxiety
  • Calm the chattering mind
  • Develop compassion
  • Promote awareness, focus and creativity

Cost: £5 / £3.50 concessions*

These sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
