Vapes Saftey Alert November 2024

A safety alert has been shared in Coventry following a small number of reports of young people becoming unwell and collapsing after using illegal vapes/illegal e-liquids.

The vapes were reported to have contained THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and other substances.

Reported side-effects from using synthetic cannabinoids include:
• changes to brain development
• increased vulnerability
• mental health issues
• addiction and dependency
• legal consequences
• serious health conditions such as heart problems, seizures and fatalities.
