Coventry COMMUNITY DIRECTORY

Age UK

Forum Health Centre works closely with the Age UK team in Coventry to provide help and support to patients in need.

The Age UK Friendship Group for over 50's meets second and fourth Thursday's of each month at St Mary's Walsgrave in Hall Lane between 10am - 12noon. £2 entry fee.

Coventry Breathe Easy

Coventry Breathe Easy are a support group for people with a lung condition and includes friends, family and carers.

The group meets on the 2nd Friday of every month between 2pm to 4pm at Eadon Hall,m Central Hall Methodist Church, Warwick Lane, Coventry CV1 2HA.

Future meetings include discussions with The British Red Cross, Lead Respiratory Nurses and Be Active Be Healthy workers.

Meetings are free but donations for the support of the service are welcomed.

National Council

Many Mature single people find themselves at a loss when a relationship ends.

The National Council runs this group for the DIVORCED, SEPERATED AND WIDOWED. It offers people a chance to meet the committe and make new friends who are in a similar position. The group also orgnaise various events the year, including nights out, day trips to the seaside and picnic's in the park.

Meetings are held on a Tuesday night between 8.30 and 11.30 at The Railway Bar & Grill, 91-92 Spon End, Coventry CV1 3HF.
